This post is from Laura's Family.
Late last night we received a call from Mongolia! President Clark wanted to let us know that he had received a very special delivery. Laura had arrived safe and sound. He said her bright smile and her hair lit up the room. He then put Laura on the line to chat for a few minutes.
The first thing Laura said was that the traffic would scare us (Mom especially). She also said it was very windy. She had been able to sleep for much of the long flight. When she was not sleeping she was memorizing the name of her English teaching sponsor but never once had to use it to convince someone why she was going to Mongolia.
Laura was not completely sure of the plans for the day but she did tell us that she would be having some instruction and then going to eat. She would be assigned a temporary companion until Thursday when the other Mongolian missionaries would be arriving from the Philippines MTC. Then they will have orientation and be assigned their regular companion.
Laura assured us she was taking notes on everything so we will be anxious for next Monday when she will have a p-day and time to write. Thanks for your love and prayers for Laura.
Yeah she is here!

I love how her mission president said her hair lit up the room! It sounds like she is going to have a wonderful mission and very unique experiences. Thanks for letting us read her letters!
